My process
My pieces are made using polymer clay. Each piece starts as a lump of clay that needs to be rolled and squished until it is conditioned. Then I make it into a slab to work off of, or twist it into a freeform shape. Sometimes a slab will have details added to it and be built into a picture. Other times, I roll colours out into a snake and cut slices off to add to the slab before rolling flat. Maybe I swirl different colours together to make a marble. There are so many ways to create with this material and I’m forever experimenting and learning.

Twee and Me began when I took a polymer clay workshop the same day I found out I was pregnant in August 2015. Needless to say, it was a wonderful day that I will remember for a lifetime! From then, my love for making jewellery took seed and has grown and grown. Many countless hours have been spent conditioning and mixing clay, rolling beads and experimenting with textures, shapes and combinations. Each one is unique and all evolve from a tiny seed of an idea- or, I wont lie, from happy mistakes. I started with a love for beading and making necklaces and now focus on earrings to go along with my own statement earring addiction.
I quickly realised I had made far more than one woman could ever wear on her own, and so it was decided that they would be sent to other good homes. It is now what I love doing most of all and would make all day every day if I could!
I hope you love yours as much as I loved making it!
